Education

Education Program

The Education Department works to improve access to inclusive, quality education, especially in marginalized pastoral communities. It tackles barriers to school enrollment, attendance, and retention, ensuring education for all children, including girls and those with disabilities. The department promotes community involvement in education management for sustainability and relevance. Beyond formal schooling, it supports non-formal and vocational training for pastoral youth and women, teaching skills like agriculture and entrepreneurship to boost livelihoods. By strengthening education and practical training, the department fosters both learning and community development.
